What We Do
Ultimately, XitKey is here to assess & evaluate your business. And set the stage for a successful exit. Many of the member of XitKey are actively purchasing businesses, so it’s possible for the complete transition to remain in-house. Understanding how this can lead to a conflict of interest, XitKey has formulated a multi-step process that allows for transparency and possible multiple options for exiting. Each business has it’s individual & unique operational & structural characteristics, and in turn each business requires a diligent assessment before a sober valuation can be given.
We at XitKey reject the notion of businesses going out to market before a thorough evaluation has been completed. Good businesses often remain on the market for extended periods of time, or even close their doors because improper expectations were set in the beginning.

When to Start
If you’re reading this, the time to get started with the preparation of the sale of your business, is now. With exception, the choice amount of time to ready a business for sale is 3 to 5 years. Depending on the situation and current structure of a businesses, preparing for sale in 1 to 2 years time, can be sufficient. Unless a business has already been arranging for exit, a sub 12 months preparation period is usually not ideal. However, sometimes there is a situations where we’re not allowed the ideal amount of time for preparation. XitKey is positioned to help no matter the position of the desired or allowed exit period.
